Fluoride

Some people oppose to the adding of Fluoride to drinking water because they believe that it does not do what it is supposed to do which is to prevent tooth decay. There have been test showing that show that fluoridation is causing discoloration in teeth. It has also been noted that drinking water that contains fluoride has led to kidney damage. Although that this effect was noticed in a testing of rats, should we risk putting fluoridated water into our own bodies. More evidence that proves that kidney’s may be affected by this water is reflected in a Chinese test where they found and increased number of people suffered from kidney disease that consumed water containing more than 2ppm. “ppm” stands for parts per million. An anti-fluoridation picture lies below.

I agree with the picture above because there is no need to risk lives if we are not sure about something. It has been reported that problems have happened dealing with the kidney. This is very serious. If health effects are a trade for slightly better resistance to decay in teeth, I say no deal.

Some technological advances had to be made before fluoride could be added to drinking water and toothpaste. These advances include computers. Computers are needed to manage the  stirring process of fluoride water and for the adding of dyes. Without computers there would be no way to manage the processes evenly. Computers are just one example of how technology mad water fluoridation possible.

In an experiment conducted on rats about the effects of water fluoridation, some of the rats died. If death is a side effect of drinking water or toothpaste containing fluoride then it is not worth it. I’m sure that everybody will agree with me about that. If it turns out to be true that because humans are very different from rats and that we will not die if we consume fluoride water, then my next greatest concern will be the kidney problems. As I said in the paragraphs above, I think that if our kidney are at risk like this than we should do a lot more research into the effects of fluoride. These are my greatest concerns about water fluoridation.
